When Yinka Ilori, one of Britain’s most recognisable designers, set out to launch his foundation, the goal was clear - create a platform that would champion creativity, inspire communities, and share opportunities for the next generation of artists. The foundation needed a website that matched this ambition. It had to be visually striking, easy to navigate, and flexible enough to grow as the foundation evolved.
Linford was tasked with bringing this vision to life. We approached the project by first understanding the foundation’s mission, its audience, and the stories it wanted to tell. The site needed to reflect Yinka Ilori’s bold, colourful style while still delivering a professional, accessible experience for visitors of all backgrounds.
Our design process combined immersive visuals with a clean, intuitive layout. Large, vibrant imagery celebrated the foundation’s work, while clear navigation made it easy for visitors to explore projects, learn about upcoming events, and get involved. We built the site on a flexible CMS, allowing the foundation’s team to update content effortlessly - from adding new stories to showcasing the latest initiatives.
The result was a website that felt both personal and professional. It launched in time for the foundation’s official debut, providing a central hub for press coverage, partnerships, and community engagement. The site’s mobile-first design ensured it worked seamlessly across devices, meeting the needs of a diverse and global audience.
For the Yinka Ilori Foundation, the website was more than a digital presence - it was a statement. It embodied the foundation’s values of creativity, inclusivity, and positive change. For Linford, it was an opportunity to create a platform that not only looked beautiful but also empowered the foundation to share its mission with the world.
