Website Design and Development
Good work deserves better tools.

We’ve seen too many brilliant causes held back by bad websites. Outdated pages. Clunky donation forms. Messaging that misses the mark. The Good Build is our way of helping.

Next year, we're giving one charity the digital foundation it needs - a high-quality website built to support, strengthen, and scale the work you’re already doing.
Small Teams. Big Missions. Broken Webesites
We’re looking for a charity doing great work but struggling with the digital side. You might be:
Running everything from a laptop and a dated site
Just getting started, but growing fast
Doing the work, but not being seen
How to Apply

You may be wondering...
Who can apply for The Good Build?
Any registered charity or non-profit organisation can apply, as long as you’re based in the UK and doing work that’s making a real difference. We’re especially interested in small teams who don’t have the resources for a proper website.
Is this really free?
Yes, 100%. There’s no catch, no contract, and no hidden costs. This is a pro bono project from Linford. We build the site, host it for a year, and offer full support along the way.
What kind of websites do you build?
It depends on what you need. Most likely it will be a small to medium-sized site built in Webflow, fully responsive, SEO-optimised, and designed around your goals, whether that’s donations, awareness, volunteers, or partnerships.
What's the timeline?
Applications are open now and close on 31 December 2025. We’ll announce the chosen charity in January. The design and build will run from February to April 2026.
What if we don't have a website at all?
That’s fine. Whether you have a broken site or no site, you can still apply. Just tell us what’s holding you back, and how a new website could help.
Is this just a one-off campaign?
No, this is the start of something we’ll do every year. This 2026 build will be our very first, and we’re fully committed to making it count.
What happens after the site is live?
We’ll provide hosting, maintenance, and support for a full year after launch. You’ll also get training so your team can update the site yourselves. After that, you’re free to continue with us or manage it in-house.
How do we apply?
Click the Apply Now button on this page before 31 December. We’ll ask about your work, your audience, and how a better website could help. That’s it.
