8 Years of Ideas, Now with a Site to Match

The TBD Conference is an annual event that explores technology, behaviour, and disruption. It brings together global thinkers, business leaders, and curious minds for a day of talks and ideas that challenge how we think about the future. It’s been running successfully for eight years - but for seven of those, the website stayed exactly the same.

TBD came to Linford to rebuild the online experience from the ground up. The old site didn’t reflect the quality or ambition of the event. It was dated, hard to update, and no longer fit for purpose.

Time to Bring the Future Back Online

The existing site was stuck in the past. It lacked flexibility, struggled on mobile, and made it hard to share speaker details, promote sponsors, or update content quickly. As the conference grew in ambition and attendance, the digital presence started holding it back.

The team needed a new site that could evolve with the event, support ongoing content, and offer a better experience for speakers, partners, and attendees alike.

A Flexible Site for a Fast-Moving Event

We designed and built a brand-new site on Webflow, giving the team full control over content and layout. The design is bold but simple - putting the focus on what matters: speakers, partners, and the big ideas that define the event.

We added flexible modules for showcasing partners, managing speaker profiles, updating events, and running real-time schedules. Every element was built to scale - so the site can grow with the event, not get in the way of it.

A Platform Built for the Next 8 Years

The new TBD site is fast, mobile-friendly, and easy to manage. Whether it’s announcing a new speaker or adding a sponsor logo, the team can now update everything in minutes - no developers needed.

It’s not just a better-looking site. It’s a tool that supports the event before, during, and after - and finally reflects the forward-thinking spirit of the conference.

What Others Can Learn From This

If your event is evolving, your website should too. A good digital platform isn’t just about looking modern - it’s about staying useful.

You can’t talk about the future on a site that’s stuck in the past.
