During the COVID-19 pandemic, frontline healthcare workers needed reliable protective equipment—and the knowledge to use it correctly. Valmy, a leading manufacturer of protective masks, partnered with Linford to create an instructional video for the NHS. This video trained doctors and nurses on how to fit their masks properly, ensuring maximum protection in high-risk environments.
With hospitals under immense pressure and staff working long hours, training had to be quick, clear, and accessible. The video needed to be simple enough for immediate use while meeting strict medical accuracy standards. On top of that, production had to be done safely within the constraints of pandemic restrictions.
Linford worked closely with Valmy’s experts to break down the mask-fitting process into easy-to-follow steps. We focused on clear visuals, concise instructions, and a no-nonsense script that would be easy to digest, even in high-stress situations. Every frame was designed with clarity in mind, ensuring NHS workers could apply what they learned immediately.
The final video became an essential training resource for NHS staff. By providing a fast and effective way to teach mask fitting, the project helped protect countless frontline workers. For Linford, it was more than just a video—it was a way to support those risking everything to keep others safe
