The role
We're looking for a Web Developer who enjoys building things properly. Someone who cares just as much about performance, accessibility and usability as they do about getting every detail of a design right.
You'll be responsible for developing websites and digital experiences for Linford's clients, taking projects from approved designs through to launch and ongoing improvement.
Webflow is an important part of our development process, but we don't believe every problem should be solved with the same platform. You'll have the freedom to recommend the right technical approach for each project.
What you'll be doing
- Developing responsive websites using Webflow and custom code.
- Translating Figma designs into accurate, functional digital experiences.
- Building and managing CMS structures, components and reusable systems.
- Implementing APIs, third-party integrations and automated workflows.
- Optimising websites for performance, accessibility and search engines.
- Testing websites across browsers, devices and screen sizes.
- Troubleshooting technical problems and maintaining existing websites.
- Collaborating with designers to deliver polished user experiences.
- Exploring new tools and technologies that improve our development process.
What we're looking for
- Strong experience developing and launching commercial websites.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience building complex websites in Webflow.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations and modern development workflows.
- A good understanding of responsive design, technical SEO and accessibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and communicate technical decisions clearly.
Experience with React, e-commerce platforms, automation tools or backend development would be an advantage.

Salary: £38,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
